OLA HORHE (SERBIA)

 

Ola Horhe are a Belgrade duo of Andy Pavlov on analogue synthesizers (Polymoog & Yamaha CS-15) and Attack El Robot on drums. They first collaborated in the early 90s under the band name "E"; they started calling themselves Ola Horhe in 2007. Ola Horhe's gig at SKC in Belgrade in December 2008 was proclaimed "event of the year" by the most prominent local web-zine Popboks. They have recently finished the recording of their debut album.

 

Attack El Robot worked with bands such as Viktor Klimpl Trio, The Shits and Uzmi Jedi from Belgrade, as well as Zemlja br.9, with whom he recorded one album and toured all over former Yugoslavia. Andy Pavlov worked with various Belgrade bands during his days at the Student Cultural Centre (SKC) and SKC Radio. He performed at a dozen festivals in Serbia and the region and took part in several arts exhibitions. He is currently interested in classical, contemporary, alternative, experimental and popular music, and plays in the Piano-Duo LP, alongside Sonja Loncar.
