For the second year in a row, we are happy to offer you an opportunity to visit the legendary Electronic Studio of Radio Belgrade, which hosts a rare piece of early electronic music legacy - the grand EMS Synthi 100 modular synth system. This is the first of the three devices produced out of a total series of 30. It has reached Belgrade in the early seventies, at the same time as the studios of the BBC, and has been used by the pioneers of early electronic music in Serbia, such as Paul Pignon, Vladan Radovanovic and others.
The interest shown last year has made us decided to feature this guided tour every year, and also to give a contribution to the possibility of making the device functional again. The recent raise of interest in the "old machines" and modular systems puts the system located in this studio in focus, even though it is currently not operational. It is a true relic of early dawn of electronic music, and a monumental signifier of the power of engineering.
Due to security procedures, you need to apply for the guided tour by sending an email with your full name and ID number (passport or personal ID) to info@dis-patch.com
